Development of Proximity-Based COVID-19 Contact Tracing System Devices for Locally Virus Spread Prevention

COVID-19 contact tracing is a preventive solution to slow the spread of virus. Several countries have implemented manual as well digital tracking using smartphone applications. A proximity-based system device BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology focuses on and controlling virus in local communities. The devices consist signal sending (tag) receiving (scanner). Suppose factory. tag will be used by employees placing it front pocket factory employee's clothes or hooked shirt. continuously send that read scanner. This received with strength indicator (RSSI) format calculate distance between scanner tag. Then determine coordinate point tag, calculations trilateration algorithm. Therefore, tags can obtained, while fluctuation, actual cannot yet proximity information still obtained filtering data at specified time interval less than threshold value distance, 2 meters, then comparing overall data, resulting percentage value. high percentage, above 80%, indicates closeness tags.
